Your wedding date → every order-by and mail-by date.
Line weights, foil colours, plates and rush-friendly alternatives.
Wedding stationery, from save-the-date to table number.
One place for the whole suite: save-the-dates, invitations, RSVP and details cards, envelopes with guest addressing, programs, menus, place cards and table numbers — all on the same stocks and colours so every piece matches. Choose the finish that fits the wedding: crisp digital on 17.5pt Mohawk Eggshell, ultra-thick 32pt cotton, velvety soft-touch, real hot-foil, deboss, white ink on dark stock or true letterpress. Every order gets a free digital proof from a real prepress designer, and our stationer tools tell you the right envelope, how many to order and when to mail before you spend a dollar.
Which invitation finish should you choose?
Digital on 17.5pt Mohawk Eggshell or 16pt Colorplan is the workhorse: full colour, any quantity, from $0.98, two to three business days. Ultra Thick 32pt cotton is the luxury 'thud in the hand' with the same fast digital printing. Soft Touch adds a velvet laminate that photographs beautifully and resists fingerprints. Digital Foil gives metallic type and flourishes without dies, so it is the fast, affordable way to get gold or rose gold. Hot Foil Stamp, Deboss and Letterpress are the true plate processes — deeper, tactile and unmistakable — and they need a die or plate per colour, which is why they carry a longer lead time. White Ink on dark or coloured stock is the modern statement piece for evening weddings.
Build the suite so everything matches
Order the invitation, RSVP card, details card and envelopes together and we gang them on the same stock and press run so colours and paper feel are identical. Standard sizes: 5" × 7" invitation (A7 envelope), 3.5" × 5" RSVP (A1/4-bar envelope) and 4.25" × 5.5" details card (A2). Add guest addressing with variable data so envelopes arrive printed and ready to stuff, then carry the design into programs, menus, place cards and table numbers for the day itself. Favor labels, welcome signs and seating charts come from our roll-label and large-format lines in the same colours.
How many to order and when
Invitations go to households, not guests: 150 guests is usually 75–90 invitations. Add 10–15% for keepsakes, late additions and addressing mistakes, then round up to the next 25 — reprints of ten cost far more per piece than ordering a few extra now. Mail save-the-dates 6–8 months out (10–12 for destination weddings), invitations 8–10 weeks out, and set the RSVP date 3–4 weeks before the wedding so the caterer and seating chart are not waiting on stragglers. Our timeline tool turns your wedding date into order-by dates that include production and mailing.
Postage, envelopes and what will actually mail
A standard 5" × 7" invitation with one or two inserts mails as a 1 oz or 2 oz letter. Square invitations, rigid 32pt stacks over 1/4" thick, wax seals and ribbon are 'non-machinable' and take a surcharge stamp — beautiful, but budget for it. Use the envelope finder to check thickness before you commit, and consider an outer mailing envelope for wax-sealed suites. We ship finished stationery nationwide from Houston; there is no pickup because our facility is production only.
Artwork, proofs and rush weddings
Send a print-ready PDF with 0.125" bleed and fonts outlined; we accept AI, INDD-exported PDFs and high-resolution PNG. Every order receives a free digital proof — nothing prints until you approve it, and our designers flag low-resolution photos, missing bleed and thin foil lines before they become problems. Running late? Digital finishes can ship same-day or next-day when approved before 11 AM CT; plate processes cannot skip die-making, but our rush quote team will tell you the honest fastest date and suggest a digital-foil or soft-touch alternative that still looks the part.
