Tent Walls for 10-ft Event Tents — Full Wall vs. Half Wall, and When You Need Each
How full and half walls attach, what they do for wind, sun, privacy and branding, how to design a back wall that photographs well, and how to order walls that fit your existing 10×10 frame. Made in the USA, ships nationwide.

A canopy gets you noticed. Walls get you remembered.
The canopy is what people see from across the fairground. The walls are what they see when they arrive: the backdrop behind your table, the surface behind every selfie, the panel that blocks the competitor's tent behind you. Printed walls roughly triple the branded area of a 10×10 tent for a fraction of the tent's price — and because they zip and Velcro onto standard hex frames, they can be added to a tent you already own. We print two formats for 10-ft frames: a full-height wall and a half-height wall.
Full wall — the branded backdrop
- Roughly 10 ft wide × 7 ft tall, edge-to-edge dye-sublimated graphic with a white reverse so it looks clean from inside the tent.
- Attaches with a hook-and-loop strip along the top valance and zippers down each leg — a one-minute swap that needs no tools.
- Blocks wind and low sun completely on that side, hides the tent behind you, and gives staff a private storage zone.
- Best used as the back wall. Add a second and third full wall for a three-sided room on exposed sites or where you store stock.
- Design at eye level: put the logo and one message 4–6 ft from the ground where cameras and customers look.
Half wall — the open, walk-up booth
- Roughly 10 ft wide × 3.5 ft tall, printed full colour with a white reverse.
- Hangs from the leg at counter height with a gravity hem bar that keeps it taut in light wind.
- Keeps sightlines open on the sides so passers-by can see in and staff can chat across the rail — ideal for sampling, sign-ups and retail.
- Turns a plain leg into a branded counter front; pairs with a table behind it for a 'shop front' look.
- Lets breeze through on hot days where a full side wall would turn the tent into an oven.
Which combination should you buy?
- Farmers market or festival vendor: full back wall + two half side walls. Branded backdrop, open sides, breeze.
- Trade show or expo: full back wall only (aisles are indoors, and neighbours are close).
- Registration, sampling or check-in: full back wall + one half wall as a counter front.
- Windy, coastal or sunny sites: full back wall + two full side walls; drop the canopy a notch.
- Sponsor or team tent at a sports event: full back wall so the logo is behind every athlete photo.
Designing a back wall that photographs well
- One logo, one message, one call to action. A wall is not a brochure.
- Repeat a small logo pattern across the lower third (step-and-repeat) so it appears in every photo no matter where people stand.
- Avoid placing anything critical in the bottom 12 inches (tables, coolers and legs hide it) or the top 6 inches (the valance overlaps it).
- Use saturated colours; the inside of a tent is shaded, and pastels go grey.
- Supply CMYK PDF, AI, EPS, TIFF or PSD at 150 DPI full size on our wall template; every file is pre-flighted by a Kolt designer and proofed before printing.
Fit, care and storage
- Walls are sized for standard 10-ft hex frames. Ordering for a frame we did not supply? Send the leg-to-leg measurement and leg height and we will confirm fit.
- Machine-wash cold, hang dry. Fold loosely and store in the tent bag; creases drop out once hung.
- In strong wind, remove side walls first — walls add load to the frame — and keep 40 lb of ballast per leg.
