Flyer or brochure — which one do you need?

Choose a flat flyer for one message with one call to action: an event, a sale, a menu, an open house. Letter size gives you room for photos and a coupon; half-page is cheaper to print and hand out at doors and counters. Choose a tri-fold brochure (letter folded to 3.67" × 8.5") when you need to walk a reader through services, pricing or a process in panels — it fits a #10 envelope and a brochure rack. A half-fold (letter folded to 5.5" × 8.5") reads like a four-page booklet and suits menus, programs and product sheets.

100lb gloss text is the standard flyer and brochure stock — bright colour, a light sheen and folds cleanly. 100lb matte text flattens glare for text-heavy layouts and looks more editorial. 14pt cover turns a flyer into a sturdy handout or sales sheet that stands on a counter and survives a trade-show bag. Add aqueous or UV coating for extra pop and scuff resistance.

Every order gets a free digital proof from prepress, who checks fold alignment, bleed and resolution before you approve.

How should I set up a tri-fold brochure file?

Use our free tri-fold template: two pages (outside and inside) at 8.5" × 11" with 0.125" bleed, fold guides and the narrower inside flap marked. Export as PDF, 300 DPI, CMYK, fonts outlined. We send a free proof showing the folded result.

Do you offer coating on flyers?

Yes — aqueous or gloss UV coating on 100lb gloss and 14pt stocks for extra colour pop and scuff resistance. Matte stock is left uncoated so it stays writable.
