How to choose the right roll label
Start with where the label lives. Dry goods, candles and retail boxes are happy on matte or gloss paper, the most economical stock. Anything that meets water, oil, condensation or a refrigerator (beverages, cosmetics, food, cannabis, cleaning products) should move to white or clear BOPP film, which will not tear, wrinkle or lift. Metallic silver and gold, holographic and textured felt stocks are for shelf impact; UL-certified polyester is mandatory for electrical and industrial compliance.
Next, pick the adhesive: permanent for almost everything, removable for glass and returnable containers, freezer-grade for cold chain. Measure your container, not your artwork — our label size finder converts bottle and jar dimensions into a label size that wraps cleanly. Finally, tell us how you apply: hand application takes any roll direction, but label applicators need a specific unwind and core size, so note it at checkout.
